SEBI Grade A Phase I Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase 1 is given below. 

Paper 1:

  • Paper 1 will have questions from General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Test of Reasoning subjects.
  • The total marks of paper 1 will be 100 marks and the duration of the exam will be one hour.
  • The aplciants have to solve MCQ-type questions in paper 1 and there will be negative marking.
  • You have to score at least 30% marks in paper 1. 

Paper 2:

  • Paper 2 will have 100 questions related to your stream like IT, Legal, etc.
  • The applicants will get 40 min to solve the exam.
  • There will be MCQ-based questions with negative markings.
  • Score at least 40% marks in paper 2. 

SEBI Grade A Phase II Exam Pattern 

Paper 1:

  • It will be a Descriptive paper of 100 marks.
  • The time will be one hour. 
  • The minimum passing marks are 30%.

Paper 2:

  • The question in paper 2 will be from the stream.
  • There are 100 marks questions to be loved in one hour.
  • It is needed to obtain 40% marks in paper 2.
  • There will be 70 MCQ-based questions on paper with negative markings.
