Punjab PCS Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
A person who wants a Grade A job in the Punjab govt should check the job requirements for the Provincial Civil Services posts.
Education Details
All of those persons who are interested in the Provincial Civil Services posts in Punjab and who have completed the graduation degree like BA/BSC/BTech from the approved college/school/ body are invited to apply for the PPCS Provincial Civil Services posts.
Age Limit
The Punjab govt will allow applicants with the age of above 21 years to fill out the forms for the Provincial Civil Services posts. The applicant’s age should not exceed 37 years for the general category who are going to apply for the Provincial Civil Services posts.
Application Fee
- Rs 2500 for general
- Rs 1250 for SC and ST
- Rs 625 for PWD
- No fee will be there for the Ex-Serviceman
Selection Process
Prelim Exam:
- The pre-exam will be an offline paper of 2 2-hour duration.
- All of the questions are MCQ-based.
- There will be paper 1 and paper 2 in the prelim exam.
- In paper 1, you will have 100 questions for 200 marks.
- In paper 2, you will have 80 questions for 200 marks.
- In paper 1, all the questions are of 2 marks.
- In paper 2, all the questions are of 2.5 marks.
- Paper 1 will cover the syllabus for the General Studies subject.
- Paper 2 will cover the syllabus for the CSAT subject.
- The applicants can solve the questions in English or Punjabi language.
Mains:
- It will be an offline paper of 3 hours.
- It is a descriptive paper.
- The questions will be from General English, General Punjabi (Gurmukhi Script), General Essay (English/Gurmukhi), and General Studies.
Interview:
- The interview round will be of 150 marks.
- You can give the interview in English and Punjabi medium.
