APPSC Selection Phases & Exam Announced

There are three phases to choosing the best person for the DEO exam in the APPSC.

Screening Test: The APPSC successfully organized the screening test for the DEO posts on 25 May 2024, the result of the screening test was out on 27 June 2024, the applicants should check their roll number in the result list.
Main Examination: After the screening test, a total of 3957 persons will be called for the main examination.
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): After the main examination, there will be a computer proficiency test for the DEO posts.

APPSC DEO Cut-Off Marks – Minimum Qualifying Marks

The APPSC has given the criteria for the minimum qualifying marks for the APPSC DEO Screening test. See below.

OC/Sports Person /Ex-Serviceman should have a minimum of 40% marks
Backward Class should have a minimum of 35% marks
SC/ST/ PWD should have a minimum of 30% marks

Andhra Pradesh PSC/ List Of Candidates Provisionally Qualified For Mains Examination

The APPSC Commission has released the shortlist of the applicants who have passed the screening test for the DEO posts. The applicants can download the shortlist of the applicants who qualify for the APPSC DEO exam and then find their names in the shortlist. There will be no scorecard if your name is on the list, you are allowed to sit in the main examination for the DEO posts.

The total number of qualified persons for the APPSC DEO Screening test is 3957 who are going to take the main examination.

When the applicants visit the home page of the APPSC, they have to click on the result tab.
The link to check the result of the DEO Screening Test is at the top.
Click on the link and you will be able to download the PDF of selected persons for the main examination.
The applicants can use the search option in the PDF file to see the application number.
If your application number is present in the PDF, it means you qualify for the screening test for the DEO posts.
