AP DSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility
Education Details
- The applicants must have passed the 12th class from the sanctioned college/school or board.
- The education may vary from post to post like a Diploma in Elementary Education is required for Primary teaching posts.
- A graduation degree with a BED degree is required for the class 1 to class 10 teachers.
- A master’s degree with a BED degree is needed for the PGT posts for class 11 and class 12th.
- For the Principal post, the applicants should have a PG degree with a BED degree along with the relevant years of experience.
Age Limit
- 18 years- This is the minimum age limit for teaching posts in the AP DSC organization.
- 44 years- This is the maximum age limit for the teaching posts in the AP DSC organization.
Application Charges
The aplciants are required to pay the application fee of Rs 750 while filling out the application fee for the SGT and other teaching posts in the AP DSC organization. This is the fee for all of the categories, you can pay it online or offline as per instructions.
Selection Process for AP DSC Teaching Posts
- School Assistant: The selection process will have 100 marks, 80 marks for the written test, and 20 marks for the APTET exam.
- Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT): The applicants have to give 100 marks on written tests.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): In this post, there are two papers, paper 1 is 100 marks, and the questions are from the English Language. Paper 2 will have 80 marks for the written test and 20 marks for APTET.
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT): In this post also there are two papers, paper 1 is 100 marks for English Language Proficiency Test. Paper 2 will have 80 marks for the written test/TRT and 20 marks for the APTET exam.
