The BPSC Commission has released the details of the vacancies for 118 posts. In total two advertisements have been published on the BPSC website, one for 113 posts and another for 05 posts. The Advertisement number of the notification is 32/2024 and 33/2024. 113 posts are vacant in the Civil Dept and 05 posts are vacant in the Mechnial Dept. The BPSC has accepted the application forms for the AE posts from 15 June 2024 to 30 June 2024 online. Let’s check now what is the selection process and when to download the admit cards.

BPSC AE – Selection Process
The selection process for the BPSC AE posts will include the two stages.
- Written Test: It will be an objective paper of 600 marks, the pattern is explained further in this article.
- Interview: The aspirants who clear the written test are called to come for the interview round.
BPSC AE (Assistant Engineer) – Examination Schedule
The examination schedule for the Assistant Engineer posts in the Bihar govt will be released soon. The exam schedule will have the Date of the exam, time of the exam, and center of the examination. You should keep visiting the BPSC official website for lattes updates on the BPSC AE Exam.
BPSC AE – Exam Scheme & Paper Pattern
- The BPSC AE posts examination includes 6 papers in the exam.
- Each paper will have 100 MCQ questions means the total number of questions will be 600.
- One question is for one mark.
- The total marks of the AE exam are 600 marks.
- Each of the 6 papers should be completed in one hour means you will get one hour for one paper, a total of 6 hours for 6 papers.
- The minimum mark required for the GEN category is 40%.
- The minimum mark required for the SC/ST category is 32%.
- The papers from which you will get questions are as follows.
- General English- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
- General Hindi- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
- General Studies- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
- General Engineering Science- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
- Concerned/Optional Paper I- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
- Concerned/Optional Paper II- 100 Questions to be solved in one hour.
How to download the BPSC AE Admit Card 2024?
- The admit cards for the BPSC AE posts will be available on the official website.
- The applicants should click on the link Download Admit Card for the BPSC AE Posts.
- Write the application number, DOB, etc in the BPSC form.
- Save the Admit Card for the AE posts.
- Print the Admit card and visit the examination center along with the admit card.
