J&K High Court Stenographer Selection Procedure
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir has different stages of selection for different posts. The possible selection stages for the Steno and other vacancy of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir are given below.
- Written Test– The applicants have to prepare for the written test for the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir Steno and other posts.
- Typing Test– There will be a typing test for the Steno vacancy and other posts like Librarian, the typing test will not be there.
- Shorthand Test- The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir will organize the Shorthand test for the Steno vacancy only.
- Interview– There will be an interview round for the Group B and Group C posts in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir.
High Court of Jammu & Kashmir Exam Schedule
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir will soon release the exam date for the Steno and other posts. The admit cards are supposed to be out in September 2024 and the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir will conduct the exam in October 2024. Senior Scale Stenographer (Level 7) Paper Pattern
The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir has a direct selection process for the SR Scale Steno posts. The examination pattern for the SR Scale Steno posts is given below.
- English Shorthand test– This will check the typing speed of the applicants, which should be at least 80 words per minute.
- Typewriting test– This test will check the typewriting speed of the applicants which should be at least 40 words per minute
Junior Scale Stenographer (Level 6B) Paper Pattern
The selection process of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir for the JR Scale Steno posts also has a two-stage selection process, check below.
- English Shorthand test– This will check the typing speed of the applicants, which should be at least 70 words per minute.
- Typewriting test– This test will check the typewriting speed of the applicants which should be at least 35 words per minute
Steno Typists (Level 5) Paper Pattern
The vacancy of a Steno Typist in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir will be conducted based on direct recruitment and the following rounds will be organized.
- English Shorthand test– This will check the typing speed of the applicants, which should be at least 60 words per minute.
- Typewriting test– This test will check the typewriting speed of the applicants which should be at least 30 words per minute
