RRB ALP Selection Process
The selection process for the RRB ALP posts included several stages, the details of the stages are given below.
- CBT 1 Exam: The CBT 1 exam of RRB for the ALP posts contains the questions from the English, Reasoning, and aptitude. The RRB ALP exam aims to shortlist the applicants from lakhs of persons for the second CBT test.
- CBT 2 Exam: The CBT 2 paper of the RRB for the ALP posts has two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A will contain the general questions and in Part B, the applicants will get the subject-specific questions.
- Docs Verification Test: The RRB will call the shortlisted persons to come for the verification of original docs before joining the ALP posts.
- Medical Test: The applicants have to go through the medical examination test for the ALP posts.
RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2024
The ALP posts selection process has two stages of written tests, the pattern of the CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams is given below.
RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern
The CBT 1 exam for the RRB ALP posts will have a total of 75 questions. The RRB will give the time of 60 minutes to solve 75 questions. The students will get one mark for one correct answer. There will be a negative marking in the CBT 1 exam for the RRB ALP posts.
- Mathematics- 20 questions for 20 marks
- General Intelligence & Reasoning- 25 questions for 25 marks
- General Science- 20 questions for 20 marks
- General Awareness of Current Affairs- 10 questions for 10 marks
RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam Pattern
The CBT 2 exam for the RB ALP posts will have two parts, Part A has 75 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. Part 2 will have a total of 75 questions and the total time to solve Part B is 2.5 hours. The CBT 2 also has a negative marking.
- Part A/ Mathematics- 20 questions for 20 marks
