TNMAWS Exam Overview
The TNMAWS paper for the AE, JE, and other posts includes two parts in the written test, paper 1 and paper 3. The overview of both the papers of TNMAWS is given below.
TNMAWS Paper 1:
Paper 1 of the TNMAWS exam is set from the subject-related questions. The subject will be the same as in the diploma or degree of the candidate. The total marks for the TNMAWS paper 1 are 300 and the duration of the TNMAWS paper 1 exam is 3 hours.
The TNMAWS has set 153 marks as the passing criteria for the reserved nominees and on the other hand, the nominees from the unreserved categories have to score a minimum of 204 marks in TNMAWS paper 1.
TNMAWS Paper 2:
Paper 2 of the TNMAWS exam has two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A of Paper 2 of TNMAWS has questions from the Tamil language. The level of Tamil questions is of the 10th level. The total questions in Part A are 100 and the total marks for the 100 questions are 150 in Part A.
It is compulsory to obtain 60% marks in Part A that is 60 marks out of 150 marks. The Part B of the Paper 2 of TNMAWS has questions from the General Studies.
In Part B, there are 75 questions from General Knowledge and 25 questions from the Aptitude /Mental Ability. The total marks in TNMAWS Part B are also 150 marks.
TNMAWS AE JE Expected Cut-Off Score
The applicants needed to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the TNMAWS Paper 1 and Paper 2. The actual cut-off for the TNMAWS AE and JE exams is hard to decide at this time. The competition level is tough in 2024 for the various posts under the TNMAWS.
