TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Requirements & Conditions

Educational Qualifications

Generally speaking, candidates for a variety of positions need to acquire a graduation certificate from an accredited university:

Assistant Inspector: Those with a Master’s in Social Work or equivalent credentials are preferred.
Deputy Commercial Tax Officer position: Degree in B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. required.
A degree in the arts or sciences is required of the probation officer, preferably in psychology or sociology.
Junior Employment Officer: Bachelor’s in Commerce, Science, or Arts.
Sub Registrar, Grade II: A B.L. degree is preferred.
Forester: BS in engineering or science with a focus on specific fields.

Age Limit

Candidates in the general category may be as young as 18 or as old as 32.
Minimum age of 18 and maximum age of 37 for reserved groups.
Regarding Particular Posts: Vary from 26 to 42 years old, contingent upon the role and other requirements.

Application & Examination Fee Details

A fee of ₹100/-must be paid by candidates at the time of application submission through Net Banking, Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and other online sources for the preliminary examination.

TNPSC Group II and IIA Services – Selection Process

Three tests will conducted for the selection of the nominees.

Typical Preliminary Exam: This test is intended to be a screening tool for applicants. The primary test is only open to individuals who meet the requirements for this exam.
Examiners will find both objective and descriptive questions in the separate main test, which is based on the Group II and IIA services-specific syllabus.
